Francisco Torrado, D.V.M.

Veterinarian

Dr. Torrado is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Puerto Rico, at Mayaguez campus. He graduated in December 2002, with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Industry. In January 2012, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University in St. George’s, Grenada. He completed his year of clinical training at the University of Florida. Dr. Torrado’s areas of interests are preventive medicine, nutrition, internal medicine, and surgery. He also has wide range of experience with emergency and critical care cases.

When he is not at Live Oak, Dr. Torrado enjoys spending time with his wife, Haley, who is also a veterinarian, and his dogs and cats; Reef, Captain, and Oliver. You may bump into them stand up paddle boarding in the river, doing crossfit, sailing, or surfing.
